Each year the Witches’ Gathering uses the money raised from ticket sales to make a donation to a charity or non-profit organization that benefits the local community. Over the years the Witches’ Gathering has benefited many local charities including:
Last year we donated $1000 to the ‘Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa’ an organization that provides a wide range of support services to youth 12 years of age and older in the City of Ottawa. This year we are hoping to donate money to: 
Each year, the Ottawa Humane Society rescues, cares
for and re-homes 11,000 animals in our community. Our goal is always
to provide immediate care for the animals under our roof and to create a better future for all of Ottawa's animals.
Amethyst Women's Addiction Centre is a non-profit charitable organization, founded in 1979 in order to provide community-based treatment services to address the unique issues affecting women coping with substance abuse and/or problem gambling. Amethyst is grounded in the feminist belief that women's experience with alcohol, drugs and gambling cannot be separated from our experiences and status as women. We make direct links between the unequal position of women in society, the various forms of violence against women and substance use and/or gambling. |
